The Pfister Awards Program is designed for Showroom Consultants in kitchen and bath showrooms. Its primary objectives are to boost Pfister product sales, deepen brand loyalty, and educate consultants on new product features to better serve their customers.

Challenge

Previously, the incentive program utilized a point-based system that led to confusion among participants, as the earnings per product sold were not transparent. This lack of clarity hindered consultants’ motivation and engagement with the program. With the low adoption rate, Pfister knew it was time to re-evaluate how they were engaging their Showroom Consultants.

Solution

To address these issues, the program was revamped with a straightforward structure where 1 point equals $1, simplifying the reward system. A three-tiered status system – Nickel, Black, and Gold – was introduced, named after popular product finishes in the industry. All participants start at the Black tier upon enrollment, with opportunities to reach Gold status by achieving specific sales goals within the calendar year. 

Additionally, Pfister leveraged these tiers to incentivize key accounts; companies committing to substantial Pfister purchases could elevate their entire team to the Gold tier, fostering deeper brand loyalty. 

Participants earn rewards through a Pfister-branded reloadable Visa card, providing immediate and flexible redemption options. 

 

Results/Benefits

  • Participant Growth: 118% increase in enrolled participants 
  • Sales Performance: 76% increase in sales from Q1 2024 to Q1 2025 
  • Sales Impact: $4.8 million in sales generated in 2024; 64% increase forecasted for 2025 
  • Educational Engagement: Over 5,000 product training modules completed
