Event Technology/Registration Specialist

The Position

Brightspot Incentives & Events, an Irving-based incentives & events agency, serves Fortune 1000 clients to drive performance improvements and engagement through incentive travel, meeting planning, sales incentive programs, and engagement campaigns.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Specialist to support the Events Technology Manager in executing event technology solutions. This role will primarily focus on building event websites, registrations, and mobile app solutions for Meetings, Conferences, and Incentive Travel programs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Build event websites and registrations, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and alignment with client requirements
  • Build event mobile apps, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and alignment with client requirements
  • Assist internal teams with event technology maintenance, troubleshooting, and general platform support
  • Backup registration support for internal teams, as needed
  • Assist internal teams with reporting reconciliation, as needed
  • Maintain and update event technology templates (website, registration, and mobile app) to improve efficiency and standardization
  • Document best practices and contribute to training materials to support internal adoption of event technology platforms
  • Other duties as assigned

Reports to

  • Events Technology Manager

Minimum Qualifications

  •  Four-year degree in Hospitality, Communication, or related field
  • 2 – 4 years of experience in event technology, registration, or related support roles
  • Proficiency with event registration platforms (i.e., Swoogo, Cvent, Stova, or similar) is required
  • Proficiency with event mobile app platforms (i.e., Swoogo, Amego, Brella, or similar) is preferred
  • Strong work ethic and demonstrated ability in managing multiple/competing priorities
  • Professional Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
