Creative Manager

Brightspot Incentives & Events is looking for a Creative Manager to lead our design team and shape the visual storytelling behind our travel, meetings, and incentive programs. The Creative Manager will guide concept development, oversee the execution of high-impact design work, and collaborate across teams to bring our clients’ visions to life.

This role blends leadership with hands-on creativity. You’ll mentor our team of in-house designers, manage workloads, and ensure our creative output reflects the energy, polish, and innovation Brightspot is known for, all while staying close to the work yourself.

Brightspot Incentives & Events, an Irving-based incentives and events agency, serves Fortune 2000 clients to drive performance improvement and channel engagement through incentive travel, meeting planning, sales incentive programs, and engagement campaigns. Main Responsibilities

Creative Leadership

  • Lead and inspire the graphic design team to deliver visually compelling, on-brand creative work.
  • Provide mentorship, direction, and constructive feedback throughout the creative process.
  • Foster a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing creative culture.

Hands-On Design

  • Conceptualize and design materials across print and digital formats, including program theming and identity, logos, event collateral, and digital content.
  • Maintain Brightspot and client brand integrity across all creative deliverables.
  • Translate project objectives and client feedback into actionable creative direction.

Client & Internal Collaboration

  • Serve as a creative point of contact for client-facing projects when needed.
  • Work closely with internal program teams and sales to develop and refine creative concepts.
  • Collaborate with IT and web teams to bring creative concepts to life across digital channels.

Project & Process Management

  • Manage project timelines, priorities, and resources to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
  • Streamline creative processes to increase efficiency and maintain consistency.
  • Coordinate production-ready files for print and digital execution.

  • Director of Brand & Strategy

Direct Reports

  • (2) Graphic Designers

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
  • 7+ years of professional design experience, with at least 2 years leading or mentoring other designers.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, layout, and branding excellence.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines with a high level of organization.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence presenting creative concepts to clients and teams.
  • Understanding of brand guidelines and ability to adapt to client brand standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agency or client-facing experience.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, web, or motion design.
  • Experience developing creative for large corporate clients or events.

Estimated Time Allocation
