Miami Incentive Travel Never Fails to Impress

The trip to Eden Roc Miami Beach was a memorable one. Travel time from Miami International Airport is approximately 22 minutes, right through the heart of Miami to Eden Roc. The staff are quick and efficient and just as eager to get you on your way to your room and to the pool as you are.

Eden Roc's Lobby, a star in Miami Incentive TravelThe first night, our event was hosted at the Eden Roc in their upstairs terrace, overlooking the pool deck and beachfront. Several tables were set up for delicious appetizers including gluten-free and vegan options. Scattered were standing tables for you to mingle around as well as a full bar.

Eden Roc's Lobby Bar for Miami Incentive TravelOur second night was spent at the stunning St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort. The lobby is decorated with windows everywhere, even on the ceiling, showcasing their many floors above you. Every room with a deck. Everyone gathered into their far lobby room area, due to the unexpected rain of the evening and later in the ballroom for dinner. Each of the tables was set beautifully with overflowing flower centerpieces resembling any lavish Kardashian event. Something exciting that I love that all St. Regis’s do around the world is their tradition of the champagne sabering every evening at sunset (approx. 7 – 7:30 pm). This tradition dates back to 1904 and is a symbol of celebration of John Astor’s founding of the New York St. Regis. So… that is how we began our evening, and what a way to do it!Miami Incentive Travel is big time at St. Regis Bal Harbour ResortOn our last day, we were fortunate to have an activity hosted by Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau to take a scenic catamaran ride around Miami Beach where we would be able to anchor and go for a swim or enjoy a cold beverage on board. The boat made its way through the scenic Miami port where magnificently architected hotels rise above you and the ocean below you is a clear blue-green. Once anchored time was spent floating, soaking in the sun, and enjoying the company of friends and colleagues.

On our final night, we were shuttled to the elegant Loews Miami Beach Hotel where our event was held outside in their expansive pool deck event space. This featured a full bar, stand and sit down tables, a cigar stand, and tables of food, each with their own “Flavor of Miami”. Dishes to choose from included empanadas of all kinds, a full cooked Grouper, arroz con pollo (rice and chicken, a well known Cuban dish), as well as the famous Cuban sandwiches in baby panini form. To end the night, the action closed and winners were called, and there was huge thank you to SITE Texas and everyone involved to make the incredible weekend happen.
