All-inclusive (AI) resorts have zoomed in popularity for group incentive travel and business meetings. But, here’s a cautionary word. Some AI’s have weaker service for groups and meeting planners. Many AI’s cater, instead, to honeymooners, leisure travelers, and heavy-drinking revelers. Here is a list of our favorite all-inclusive resorts in Puerto Vallarta.

4 All-Inclusive Resorts in Puerto Vallarta:

Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta

Our rating: 76

Imagine a beautiful beach complemented by a gorgeous mountainous backdrop. Puerto Vallarta is a unique destination in Mexico. The historic downtown’s iconic Malecon boardwalk is a perfect spot to leisurely stroll and shop at street vendors and art galleries. Close to the airport and downtown, the Fiesta Americana provides a good product for a group looking for value. Recent renovations have brought positive changes to the resort’s layout and offerings.

Secrets Vallarta Bay

Our rating: 82

This property is a colonial village nestled in Banderas Bay and shouldn’t be overlooked. It is well positioned with a great view across the bay. The lobby is a scenic vantage point for check in and relaxation—beautiful! This property is adults-only and allows guests to visit the next-door sister property, Now Amber Puerto Vallarta. These two properties share retail and restaurants. Check out the special event wine room for a small break out or VIP dinner.

NOW AmberNOW Amber Puerto Vallarta

Our rating: 84

Enjoy similar quality accommodations as its sister property, Secrets Vallarta Bay, at extremely affordable group rates. The Junior Suites are large and beautiful! Among all-inclusive properties, the food here is outstanding, both in restaurants and at private events. You can dine at Secrets Vallarta Bay restaurants; however, you cannot use Secrets’ pool facilities. The property is in a great location and only 15 minutes from the airport.

The Grand Velas is one of our favorite all-inclusive resorts in puerto vallartaGrand Velas Riviera Nayarit

Our rating: 93

This is a smaller version of the sister property in Riviera Maya with equally incredible food. The suites are twice as large as most resorts (1,000 square feet). The pool is three-tiered, with lots of palm trees and cabanas, making it easy to find a private and comfy chair with your guest.
