New Incentive Hotels to Revitalize Your Trip

With a strong economy, new incentive travel programs are steadily increasing among companies. The desire to deliver a fresh, one-of-a-kind trip is skyrocketing, and whether you use your program to drive channel partners, customers, or employees, most businesses now recognize its power to affect performance in a big way. Now more than ever, the destination plays a huge part in an individual’s level of engagement.

A prominent contributing factor to any travel experience proves to be hotel accommodations. While most top resorts will have impeccable service, pristine rooms, and high-end dining options, the craving for something new will win out in the end.

Fantastic incentive hotels and resorts have opened or completed their renovation this year, which creates new opportunities for us to engage audiences to reach their performance goals or attend professional development events. We are especially excited for the following incentive properties that we’ll be featuring for 2019 programs as they are located in enticing destinations and are well-positioned for serving group incentive travel programs.

SLS brings sophistication and a bit more intimacy to the mega-resort, offering the personalized service of a boutique hotel within convenient access to all the amenities the newest property in the Bahamas has to offer. Four Seasons continues to be a big draw for Anguilla. Formally the Viceroy Anguilla, Four Seasons Resort Anguilla had renovated and reopened in October of 2016. However, when Hurricane Irma hit in 2017 there was another round of renovations to enhance the property even more. When they reopened in March 2018, they were one of two high-end properties to entice travelers back to the island and revitalize the travel scene. Set atop astounding coralline bluffs, this five-star luxury resort offers incentive travel groups three pristine pools, a two-story oceanside spa, and a service culture unlike any other. Sleek, spacious guestrooms are inspired by the white sand beaches just outside each window. This striking property brings a classic, exclusive experience for President’s Club trips in Anguilla.

The largest development ever built on Clearwater Beach, the Wyndham Grand is a testament to the continued draw of domestic travel in a world that seems to shrink every passing minute. The “Grand” is distinct from the usual Wyndham line in that it caters to those seeking a higher-end experience. After its opening in early 2017, the twin 15-story tower property blew visitors away with stunning views of the white sand beaches and giant meeting space complete with an open-air breezeway between the towers that look out into the Gulf. Clearwater has been a personal favorite of our President, Mike May, since his wedding there. He adds, “Clearwater won numerous ‘best beach’ awards from USA Today and TripAdvisor, but it lacked incentive quality hotels until the opening of the Grand and a couple neighboring resorts.”

Welcoming its fourth river cruise ship to the fleet in April 2018, Crystal launched the Debussy which sails seven and 10-day itineraries between Amsterdam and Basel along the Rhine River. River cruises are generally not the first thought when deciding on incentive travel experiences but recently have grabbed more of the spotlight thanks to the ability to embark and disembark more frequently to landmarks, cities, and activities. With all of the amenities and sophistication of a high-end resort, the Crystal Debussy is an enticing option for programs that seek to explore and sightsee while still taking moments to relax in luxury.
